Return to Aliveness (Episode 59)

How is your energy level right now? So often we're simply going through the motions in our everyday lives, but when we stop for a moment, we notice we feel tired, uninspired, and even bored. It's easy to brush this off as "normal" or to believe that "this is just what life looks like," but the truth is that this is all symptoms of being out of ALIVENESS.

In today's episode we explore what it actually means and what is required to RETURN TO ALIVENESS. We uncover 3 major areas that keep us stuck and, thus, out of JOY. We then dive in to why this matters and the simply shifts we can make to return to aliveness and bring energy and wholeness back into all we are and do.

"The most common effect of pollution in a woman's creative life is loss of vitality... The woman who returns to the instinctual and creative nature will come back to life. She will want to play. She will still want to grow, both wide and deep. But first, there has to be a cleansing."

- Clarissa Pinkola Estes

I recently posted this quote to social media and received many questions about what the "cleansing" part of this quote actually means and looks like. Today's episode answers this question and brings some powerful clarity to the conversation of truly returning to LIFE so we can experience more of what Joseph Campbell refers to:

"..the experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonance within our innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive."

We also discuss how at first we can feel a bit crazy, reminiscent of this quote from Fredrich Nietsze:

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."

But in response to this, we explored how by hearing and dancing to our heart and soul's music, it can actually lead to us and our life nbsp;becoming even more magnetic (and having WAY more fun in life).nbsp;

Let's return to aliveness so we can dance our soul's dance and sing our song. It will leave you inspired and energized, as well as inviting those around you to hear the music and take up their dance also.
