Bali Dream Trip: Day 5 Special People

Dream come true: just had an appointment with Ketut Liyer (same healer Elizabeth Gilbert worked with amp; then wrote about in "Eat Pray Love"). This sweet man exudes JOY, especially with his toothless smile amp; laughter. He told me "I very ugly, but you very pretty." He told me many other sweet things about living a long life of health, success, influence, amp; happiness. He said that I am not to live divided, but to do all things as one. Such a treasure to get to meet him.

Not all parts of Bali are enchanting. Just had to drink this terrible drink called Jamu to help with how upset my stomach is (from the parasites, apparently). My tongue is now numb. But, my stomach is starting to calm down. Phew!

Today Kelly amp; I visited Ida Resi Alit, Bali’s youngest High Priestess and the only High Priestess in Bali to experience spontaneous awakening. Kelly amp; I are both so inspired by her story amp; had such a beautiful experiences attending her ceremony amp; then even getting the sweet opportunity to meditate with her amp; only 2 other people. Ida is an incredible woman whose life of dedicated, humble service I will forever continue to be inspired by.

Learned how to make a traditional Balinese Hindu offering tonight. Every color amp; placement has meaning. So fun to learn about other cultures amp; religions; definitely enhances my experience with my own faith.
