Bali Dream Trip: Day 4 Silent Retreat

Woke up at 4:30am this morning to drive 90 min to an area near the mountains for a Silent Retreat (no talking all day). They had some great yoga amp; meditation classes during the retreat with killer views like this one. An amazing place to do yoga amp; meditate. SUCH an early morning but totally worth it.

The Silent Retreat was awesome. Didn't think we could make it a whole day without talking, but this place was so inspiring that it totally worked out. Went for some healing amp; relaxation time. The food was worth the day all by itself. Most of it came from gardens on the grounds amp; it was all vegetarian amp; organic. We ate SOOOO well. Lots of time to relax, read, journal, meditate, amp; sleep. Our schedule has been so full that today was an awesome change of pace amp; we both feel refreshed now. Was amazing!

It was especially nice to see everyone hanging out together (Jesus is 2nd from the left).

Temples are absolutely everywhere in Bali. The people are so blissfully content to devote their entire lives to family amp; temple. "What else is there?" is what a Balinese would say. I agree. Makes some of my American ambition seem rather foolish. Desiring to bring the spirit of Bali home with me, renewing amp; refreshing my center around my family amp; Heavenly Father.

The architecture in Bali is amazing. It is a country of true artists. This incredible door was just stunning!
